Practice Profits Media – Sales Responses to FAQ's What does it cost?
We have a variety of medical marketing tools ranging from waiting room video packages priced at $3,995 for an unlimited number of procedural films to $195 a la carte for as few as 3 films. We also offer web films licenses for $2,995 and 2 variations of on-location filming for $3,000 and $4,000.

How long are the medical videos?
Each medical video is between 2 and 3 minutes long. These are patient education videos, so they are tasteful, entertaining, short and to the point.

Can I use them online?
There is a Web Films License that can be purchased to use them online. We will create a web page for you that is a replica of your existing web site. Our selected videos will be linked to the page and integrated seamlessly with your site. Since Google purchased YouTube in 2007, video indexing has grown common so having video associated with your site will allow your site to be indexed in more than one way.

Is there any reoccurring fee associated your products?
There are no recurring fees at present. We currently have no subscription service so once you buy our medical marketing DVD presentation you can use it indefinitely. After the first year, which includes 2 complete revisions at no charge, you may choose to purchase an annual $500 update fee to add any new medical videos to your looping DVD presentation. The web films license includes no free upgrades.

Can I put before and after pictures in my waiting room video?
The looping waiting room DVD is considered a customized presentation and can include your before-and-afters. The medical marketing package you choose will determine the number of before-and-afters.

Do you have before-and-after pictures for us to use?
Our medical marketing company does not supply before-and-after photos to use in either the waiting room video presentation or on our web films.

Can you make me a deal?
If you order the looping waiting room dvd presentation with our online medical marketing videos, we take $1000 off the web films retail price. If you order those 2 segments as well as the on-location interviews, we take an additional $1000 off the retail price of that service. The combination of all 3 is called our Practice Profits Center, which is a 23% savings when these medical marketing tools are bought in combination.

Who comes to my office and films the doctor?
We will send out an experienced producer/camera man to provide separately-priced services called the On-Location Package & Interview Packages.

Am I charged for your travel in the On-Location Shoots?
Both on-location filming packages include travel if there's no overnight stay required.

How do you customize the presentation for my practice?
We incorporate your logo and/or practice name in lower right corner of the TV screen just like the broadcast news stations. We also will incorporate any before-and-after photos you provide (1 set per procedure). We can also create a photo montage of facilities, staff members, etc. when you provide such photos.

Can I include my logo?
Yes, we encourage that.

Tell me about the online package.
The online web films package requires a license fee of $2995 for us to create a webpage replicated from your current website in style & color scheme. We place your selected Practice Profits medical videos and any interviews we've filmed on that page. This is by far the most popular new medical marketing service we offer.

Will video really help me in my search rankings?
Yes, Google purchased UTube at the end of 2007 and now there is a separate search option that includes video from UTube on google. Therefore any practice incorporating video on their website has the opportunity of being indexed in multiple ways, thereby increasing your exposure and ranking.

On a location shoot, can you videotape my procedures?
Yes. A location shoot, which is different from an interview package, includes a full day of shooting. In this full day of shooting, we have the time to videotape select procedures as well as interviews and footage of the facilities, etc.

During an interview, can I have more one person interviewed?
Yes, you may have multiple staff interviewed within the time constraints of the package (2-3 hours, usually, for the Interview Package and more on the full-day On-Location Shoot.)

How long does it take to turn it around and get it playing in my office?
Right now our turn-around time is very quick. We cannot guarantee that your new medical marketing tool will be playing in your waiting room the following week, but our goal is to have it finished and delivered within a 10-day time frame. Please allow 2 weeks to cover busy production times.

Can I update the waiting room video presentation once I've purchased it?
Yes, every client purchasing the looping medical video presentation is given 2 full revisions within 1 calendar year of purchase. Most doctors choose to do their first revision at 6 months and their 2nd revision at 1 year to keep the medical videos updated and their approach to patient education fresh.

Are there any memberships to continue my annual upgrades?
Yes, we have a $500 annual fee that allows one additional revision of your medical marketing video presentation within that following calendar year from purchase date, and can then be renewed annually.

Who does the interview footage belong to?
The interview footage of individual doctors and staff belong to the doctor who paid for the shoot. However, medical videos produced by Practice Profits media are copyrighted and the sole property of Practice profits media.

Can I have the interview footage on the web as well as in the waiting room?
Yes, if you purchase an interview package, as well as an online web license, we will incorporate your interview footage on your webpage. The interview footage is considered your property and is available to you for other uses as well.

Do you have any other models to choose from?
Yes, we currently have a Meditteranean spokes-model and an Asian-American spokes-model as well as our original Caucasian blond spokes-model. Sample footage of each are available on our website in the film library.

Can I see the films before I make my purchase?
Yes, you can visit our website to view samples of all of our medical videos, as well as 3 choices of spokes-models.

What if I don't agree with everything that is being said?
There are ways we can occasionally revise the medical videos with regard to the text super-imposed on the screen indicating your practice's variation of the procedure's performance for your patient education purposes.

I don't want sound -- what are my options?
There are 2 options addressing this question: first, you can order subtitled films which allows the viewer to read the text so that the volume can be lowered or turned off. The 2nd option is to order the films in our silent version, which are shorter and do not have a model delivering the spoken message.

Is it cheaper if I order several items at the same time?
Yes, the Practice Profits Center is the most cost-effective medical marketing package -- ordering the website package, interview package and looping DVD provides a savings of 23%. Please talk to our sales representative to see if this medical marketing package would benefit you.

Do you offer these medical videos individually?
Yes, it’s not an economical way to purchase, but the medical videos can be bought for $195 per video with a minimum purchase of 3.

I have three offices, is there an additional charge for the other two offices?
Yes, there is a licensing fee of our waiting room DVD for each additional office of $500, which includes a master and back-up for each office, as well as the update feature.

What if there is a film I'm not satisfied with?
We want you to be satisfied. If you get our presentation and there’s anything that’s not completely satisfactory, we will make whatever revisions we need to make because we want to keep you as a long-term client.

Can I use these medical videos at our local trade show?
By permission only. What you cannot do is play them on a local or national broadcast or cable TV station or the worldwide web without our specific permission to do so.

Can I copy this waiting room DVD and hand it out to my patients?
There are strict penalties for making unauthorized copies of any of our medical marketing products. Please read the Terms and Conditions on our website for specific details.

Does this medical marketing really work?
Yes! We have lots of great feedback from doctors who say that the benefit of these patient education videos has meant additional procedure bookings and boosted profitability. Please go to our website for testimonials or ask us for physicians who are willing to serve as references.

Can I incorporate my own footage in the waiting room video presentation?
Absolutely. Depending on the length of it, if you have news footage or medical video footage taken in the past, we can usually incorporate it into your waiting room video presentation.

Our medical videos are yours to use indefinitely with no expiration date. There is a feel of $500 for annual updates to the waiting room DVD.

How long will I have access to the web videos?
Right now, we do not have a subscription service in place and until such time, there is no expiration date on usage of our medical videos under the web license agreement when you purchase it.

Can you send me references?

We can produce your waiting room video presentation with or without the photos or logo so that you can immediately begin benefiting from this patient promotional tool. The logo and photos can be added later.

I'm not sure which medical videos I want.
Choose the medical videos you think you want and we will send your waiting room DVD presentation out as quick as possible. We’ll then give you 30 days to request any changes, should you decide that one or more procedures aren’t fitting.

You might have new films in a month or two.
This situation is covered by our update policy. We give our waiting room DVD clients two complete revisions within the first year of purchase because we are continuously creating new medical videos and we want our clients to get the maximum benefit from their waiting room video presentation. You will also have the option of purchasing an annual update for $500 following the first year of purchase.

I just don't like all the talking.
That’s why we developed subtitled and silent medical videos for those waiting rooms where the physician prefers a quiet ambience.

I want to use these medical videos in my exam rooms.
You can certainly use these medical videos in your exam room. You might consider an upgrade purchase of a menu to allow for selection of specific procedures. There is a flat production fee of $300, regardless of the number of exam rooms you have.

I don't see (fill in the blank) on your medical video procedures list.
Because technology changes at the speed of light, it’s very difficult to stay abreast of all that’s becoming available. If you have a particular procedure or modalitiy not on the order form, we will consider creating a 30 second to 1 minute long montage that introduces your particular modality or service. If it’s a commercially viable procedure, we will also consider shooting it at the next film shoot and adding it to our medical video library.
